HOW PLANTS PLAN THEIR SURVIVAL!!!
The things plants will do for survival!!! Sometimes it seems that plants will go to any length to ensure their “survival of the fittest” and ensure they don’t become extinct! We are all familiar with “self-seeding” plants, mainly flowers both cultivated and wild. All you have to do is look out at the vast meadows of wildflowers in the spring to understand this. Some of this beauty is from when flowers simply drop their seeds after flowering, other times it is because the wind spreads the seed far and wide. Have you ever wondered “I don’t remember planting that there”? Birds will often drop the seeds, and animals get the seeds on their coats, or eat them for the “end result”!!
